Ann has a gentle and caring heart. Besides developing our Adaptive Yoga Program for youths and adults with special needs, she regularly coordinates fundraising yoga functions for organizations close to her heart.

She believes there is no better job than teaching the practice of yoga. Whether teaching children/adults with special needs or instructing a class how to stand in mountain pose or handstand, Ann finds great reward in waking up each day knowing she can influence a life while doing what she loves.

She loves spending time outdoors, particularly with her husband and two daughters. Her favorite quote is from Mahatma Gandhi, "The day the power of love overrules the love of power, the world will know peace."

Ann began teaching "back in the day" before yoga certifications existed. She later became certified at Lotus Yoga in 2004 from Swami Bhavajanada (Gary Gross).
